Setting Shadows to anything other than None disables ALM

Issue #97 new
Former user created an issue

Running v 2.09.06.1 on a clean reinstall. When I attempt to activate Shadows the ALM setting unticks itself (see the attached images for a step by step description).

I downloaded the current LL viewer and tried to duplicate the issue but activating Shadows there worked with no issues.

I spoke with Marine in world about this and she suggested a change to the gpu_table.txt file, modifying the entry for my video card which I did but which hasn't had any effect.

My video card is a nVidia GeForce 560M with 2 GB of RAM. I've updated to the most current non-beta driver from nVidia.

I've spoken to a few others and no one else seems to be running into this so I'm guessing it's related to my video hardware / driver so I understand that it's probably going to be tough to trouble shoot unless you're in my neighborhood some day :)
