Category 6: Day Of Destruction Full Movie Hd 1080p

Foo Tornado in Las Vegas. Heat in Chicago. Hail in Illinois. A snowfall and a storm force flows towards Chicago. It's just the beginning of a series of weather anomalies. The lights go off. People panic. A few courageous people are trying to solve the riddle of the infuriated nature and prevent mass destruction. Just before national weather bureau chief Andy Goodman's retirement, an unprecedented series on coinciding storms of abnormal strength on US soil occurs, culminating in a 'category 6' clash of two near Chicago. Midwest power grid service company Mitch Benson tries his best to restore power after overloads in several plants, so as to enable urgent warnings and relief actions. Craig Shilts' nuclear reactors company hopes to abuse problems to maximize profits, but is hit by an ICT breakdown which renders everything worse, just as the computer expert they hired to downsize their ICT staff warned. Goodman's wife, a reporter, gets access to startling facts from an unwilling source. Both their children and many others are affected in surprising, adventurous ways, whether just fleeing are attempting to provide heroic help. I found it funny that at least four or five times during the movie, there were clips that were rerun at different points during the movie. Personally, I thought that was really cheesy. And also, the scene where the main character guy is going to that girls apartment to perform the mattress rumba with his girlfriend, I found it highly amusing when they wanted to make it look all rough and stuff, when he scrambles to shove that picture off the wall, so you hear gass break. Maybe they thought that it was sexier. There are so many things about this movie that made me mad. When the teenage girl got shot in the mall, that was some of the worst acting I had ever seen in my life. You could tell that the mother, wasn't her mother you know? She didn't portray her character very well at all. and the girl that was shot was the worst shot person I have ever seen in my life. all in all, that four hours of my life that I wasted and never get back. Mitch (Thomas Gibson) is an executive with a power company serving the Chicago area. Although he has a loving wife and two wonderful kids, he is having an extra-curricular affair with a public relations officer at his company named Rebecca (Chandra West). How unfortunate this is for everyone, naturally, especially since one of the children, teenage Lindsey, is also dealing with boyfriend issues. Meanwhile, television news reporter Amy (Nancy McKeon) is determined to find out why the city is experiencing a number of blackouts but Mitch and Rebecca are not being very forthcoming. Also, a top climate scientist (Brian Dennehy) is getting many bizarre readings at this Windy City office, making him equally anxious about the coming week of weather. Indications are that a strong northern cold front and the present hot temperatures are about to bring on massive storms. His staff is working overtime but no one knows what to expect. Also, Amy's pregnant sister is close to delivery and her pilot husband may be away from home, making Amy's presence valuable. Not far away, in Kansas, Tornado Tommy (Randy Quaid) takes tourists on storm chases but he, too, is fairly worried about current conditions in the region. So is the United States Department of Energy Secretary (Dianne Wiest) If a bad storm, stronger than any known tornado, does hit, what will happen to these fine denizens of Second City? For fans of disaster films, this one works quite well. The large cast is very capable and the special effects are done well. One scene, in particular, involving Quaid and his run-in with "the big one" is quite intriguing. Since much of the film is devoted to the problem of global warming, too, science fiction lovers and ecology-minded individuals will also be interested in a viewing. Therefore, if you fall into any of these categories or just want to see something "different" tonight, look for this interesting movie.
