\includestandalone should be able to include a raster version of the file (generated by a combination of
convert options). This would allow to produce a (partially) rasterized version of the document, more resistant to printer drivers bugs (for example).
This could be implemented as :
- a package option (say,
raster) which modifies
build*options (buildraster, buildrasternew…)
\includegraphicschoose the right extension, and influence it when needed with
