Does the "Slack Notifications for Bamboo" add-on support TLS 1.2 and above?

Slack has deprecated TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1. We received an email stating on March 4th of 2020 that those versions will be sunset and only TLS 1.2 and up will be supported. We are concerned that the add-on we're using will not work and will require an update from the developer. Is this something being taken into account? Do we need to upgrade from 1.5.8 to ensure no interruption of service?

I’ve seen no report on TLS issues up to this moment, so the answer is that Bamboo itself handles the TLS setup.
