Separate inputs and outputs extend relationships

If a class B extends a class A and is extended by a class C, the class B has two extend relationships : input to A and output from C. But if we move these classes in order to have the class A and the class C on a same side, the two arrows are not distinguished. The links between these classes are not friendly to understand so, like on the image below.
