Keyboard closes when option selected in selector

When a keyboard is opened on a text component and an element is selected using the selector at another place, the keyboard closes and the text view stays in "edit mode" (cursor is still there) and keyboard cannot be re-opened.

This happens due to issue
#7. After selecting an element the selector gets destroyed, which also closes the keyboard (which might not be the one of the selector text field).
