Trying to install Whoosh (GIT) with the supplied doesn't work here (for some time up to now) - only files like /usr/lib64/python3.2/site-packages/Whoosh-2.5.0-py3.2.egg-info/SOURCES.txt /usr/lib64/python3.2/site-packages/Whoosh-2.5.0-py3.2.egg-info/zip-safe /usr/lib64/python3.2/site-packages/Whoosh-2.5.0-py3.2.egg-info/PKG-INFO /usr/lib64/python3.2/site-packages/Whoosh-2.5.0-py3.2.egg-info/top_level.txt /usr/lib64/python3.2/site-packages/Whoosh-2.5.0-py3.2.egg-info/dependency_links.txt

It doesn't install any modules here (GenToo Linux, up-to-date) I'm using python-2.7.4_pre20120805 python-3.2.4_pre20120805 setuptools-0.6.28

I have to apply the following patch --- 2012-09-20 08:47:02.562973002 +0200 +++ 2012-09-20 08:48:16.139030514 +0200 @@ -11,7 +11,7 @@ name="Whoosh", version=versionstring(), package_dir={'': 'src'}, - packages=find_packages(), + packages=find_packages('src'),

Thanks for looking into it, Helmut.
