When building Whoosh this year (2012), the "oct 2010 to feb" test failed:

| ====================================================================== | FAIL: test_dateparse.test_final_ranges | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | Traceback (most recent call last): | File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/nose/case.py", line 187, in runTest | self.test(*self.arg) | File "/build/python-whoosh-urcLqL/python-whoosh-2.3.2/tests/test_dateparse.py", line 286, in test_final_ranges | dict(year=2011, month=2)) | File "/build/python-whoosh-urcLqL/python-whoosh-2.3.2/tests/test_dateparse.py", line 27, in assert_unamb_span | assert_equal(ts.end, enddt, "end %s != %s" % (ts.end, enddt)) | AssertionError: end 2012-02-29 23:59:59.999999 != 2011-02-28 23:59:59.999999 |

From what I understand, this test should actually test that the date span is from oct 2010 to feb of current year (not 2011 !), so I patched this test (patch attached), and it passed.
