Issue #284 resolved

class Index.MultiReader

Anonymous created an issue

I am new to whoosh. I want to search on my whoosh index with loads of terms so i have been using searcher() for that

searcher().search(query= , mask=, limit=None)

Now i want to use reader() instead but find that i can pass only one term into it. I read about MultiReader class but unable to use it efficiently. Can anyone give a test code how to use MultiReader. And yes please elaborate difference between Reader and Searcher

    Reader and MultiReader are low-level objects for reading information from the index. Searcher wraps a Reader/MultiReader and provides search methods implemented using the lower-level reader functions.

    Please let me know what you're trying to do and what's going wrong with Searcher.search().
