Introduction

To demonstrate the credibility of the model parameter estimates with regard to the endpoint (ADAScog), we used the adsim simulation package to show the progression of 200 mild-to-moderate AD patients over an 18 month span. 1000 simulations from the joint posterior were used, both with and without interstudy variability included. The lines and regions represent the median and 90% prediction interval using the simulations, while the dots indicate observed placebo arms from the various CAMD studies, using mild-to-moderate AD patients in the indicated bMMSE range.
