Hovering mentions hard to read

In release 17, "7 new mentions" now hovers over the posts. This is a good thing. However, it could use a text bubble around it with some opacity. When scrolling through the posts, "7 new mentions" distorts the other texts making both unreadable.

(Note: "2 new posts" stays with its tableview cell and the scrolling posts disappear underneath that cell. Mentions missed that treatment.)
