Multiple taps of the post button send the post multiple times

I've been encountering a slight lag in the New Post page, which is probably to be expected with my device. The problem is that I've been hitting the "Post" button multiple times because I think my taps are not registering, and this sends my post however many times I hit the button (for example, if I hit the button three times the post is sent and posted thrice). Obviously the app should only send the unchanged post once, regardless of how many times I hit the button.
