Wanna get your hands dirty with three.js and WebGL, but stick with good javascript coding practices? This should make things a bit easier. :)

  • Clone this repo out and start hacking.

  • Use src/main.js as your entry point. It returns a function that is the "main" function.

  • Run npm install in this directory to get all server dependencies

  • Run ./serve.js then point your browser at localhost:9999 to see require.js / three.js in action (note: it automatically generates that index page based on what's in build.js, so add client-side javascript dependencies there)

  • Use tools/ to import a three.js library, such as the Shaders found in the examples directory, into your own workspace, all neatly wrapped with require.js

  • When you are ready, run make all to build your project.
