NEED pull request with FiniteHMT and toy data

Let's get a working version of FiniteHMT and some toy data integrated to master soon.

Please include a demo/IPython notebook with plots to show others how to use, and which parameters matter.

    I think we are almost done with this. Just need to clean up the code a bit, and provide a nice notebook with example usage and some tips on which parameters (K/initialization/etc) matter here.

    For an example of what I'm looking for, check out the Demo pages on the wiki, and the links to the source ipython notebooks.
