Can't see definition of first character of long words

You can hover the second character of a compound word to see its definition, but not the first one (see Zhongwen's implementation) e.g. 公共汽车 you can see definitions, in order, for: 公共 共 汽车 车 no definitions for 共 and 汽 alone
