Window manager like bettersnaptool cause crash

Sebastian Heinz created an issue

When connecting two sockets and a window manager like bettersnaptool is active the software crashes. Appaerntly QT doesn't know the window position. Needs error checking at point of crash - possibly user warning about snaptool.

    I can't reproduce this in a new build. Perhaps it has been fixed in a Qt patch?

    Confirm that it happens with 0.3.3
