Players can set their home in the nether, and then teleport to it from the overworld.

"/sethome" can be used in the nether and it will set your home where you are in the nether.

However even if your home in located in the nether you can not "/home" in the nether at all. It will just display: "The veil between worlds prevents you warping home from the Nether"

But, you can "/home" from the overworld and it will teleport you to your /home in the nether, allowing transport from one dimension to another without portals.
