Name changes in respect to player notes
Issue #299

Players that change names will have no notes which they had previously on another name. This can be confusing to staff when dealing with players as they will not see any past notes prior name change.

Not a feature request...its just player notes do not copy/transfer to new names. for example: Playername1 gets a warning for griefing. They then have that warning on their name. they change name to Playername2. Same account, same person, just name changed BUT their previous warning for grief does not appear for the name Playername2 but is still on Playername1.

Well yeah. Player notes don't transfer to new names. That's not a feature that exists. But what has any of that got to do with scripts, i.e. why is this issue here? It sounds like you want to open an enhancement issue on charon saying "Player notes should be stored by UUID rather than name".

That should actually go on the echelon issue tracker, since echelon is the storage backend for charon.

Not really sure what you're proposing with regards to scripts; if you're suggesting making note query scripts namechange-aware, that should be an enhancement issue here. If you're suggesting making charon itself namechange-aware, that should be an issue opened on the charon tracker. In any case, it's not a bug with any existing systems but simply a lack of feature, but I'm not really sure what exact feature you're proposing?
