An option to disable sitting

Some players, especially when placing stairs, are finding themselves accidentally sitting by right-clicking on pre-existing stairs, then find themselves suffocating. Would it be possible to implement a command that would disable sitting, and have something that whenever an attempt to sit is recognized, would say that sitting is disabled for that player, and how to reenable it, if it is?

/sit is a craftbook feature, so this should be on that issue tracker unless a way using scripts was made to disable sitting.
