Discord Messages to IRC Bridge

Hello there, So I've found a way to bridge Discord to IRC through a bot on both platforms. I am able to set this up myself. I have a few questions however:

1. Is this feature wanted/ Do I have permission to proceed?
2. What shall the bot name be?
3. Will this bot relay all Messages? or just simple commands to show who is connected on either end/ or when a player joins or leaves either platform?

I think this would be a neat feature that I can work on in the background, however I would prefer to get the go ahead first before doing this. Thank you very much for your time.

Bot has been created, linked to IRC. McOBot now just needs to display just <MCO_Discord> ingame without the [IRC] tag. other than that, everything seems to be working perfectly

I have no objection to this in principle, but in practice I'd urge you to check with Esper staff first whether that kind of bridge is acceptable to them. The last thing I want to see is the entire channel shut down for a bridge that's against their terms of service.

Thank you for letting me know. I have reviewed esper.net bot policy and bridge bot policy and received a verbal ok from a staff member. Looks like we are all set.
