Wand sometimes fails to select a region for certain admins until server restart

Holding the wand and attempting to select a corner of a region displays a message that Selection A (LMB) or Selection B (RMB) has been set, but attempting to use the selection for world edits indicates no region is selected. This also means that the wand can't be used to select a region to use /whobrokethis.
Using //pos1 and //pos2 still works as expected.
Assigning to bastet, as I believe he was working on this.

This is a minor issue as it is actually only occasional. It seems to affect only some admins, and only rarely, and only until server restart. I encountered and mentioned it previously when first testing 1.7.10.
It is possibly related to classicloader.
I don't believe Bastet is working on Worldedit; i don't think anyone is.
