This repository contains the efforts to create some project that both combines some old, but nicely looking hardware and my struggle with learning a craft that each time ends in creation of lamps. I tried to leverage years spent in software production thus I went for microcontrollers and C.
HDDLamp is a LED lamp that uses the body of an HDD
- Using junk, leds, MCUs and C programming is a nice way to put together something out of everything I like to spend time with.
- You will need the latest version of the KiCAD files to produce a board (Lately I order somewhere in the cheap 10 for 10 PCB houses)
- Inspect the code. It should compile for at least ATMega 88.
- I am using some kind of cooperative multitasking with event based messaging (see in common dir).
