'No Installed plugins'

So I've created my own modpack, including NEI. Only if I go to the 'Mods' at the title screen and then go to Not Enough Items, it says "No installed plugins". If I go to NEI_Plugins it gives me a list of alot of plugins. But sadly enough, NEI doesn't work. Please help
