"Forestry Shaped" recipes do not hint or auto-populate

Forestry recipes (only the "Shaped Forestry" category in NEI, the vanilla crafting recipes for Forestry machines, Farm Blocks, etc.) do not hint ([?] button) or auto-populate (Shift-[?] button) at a crafting table. There is no [?] button at all.
