Suggest installation to /usr/local/bin
Issue #16
resolved
~/bin
is a bad directory to install your programs in. For example, OSX does not create such a directory and it is not present on the PATH
.
The canonical directory would be /usr/local/bin
. All UNIX systems should have this by convention.

I'm going to close this, I think its ok to suggest ~/bin because most users will not have permission to write to /usr/local/bin or /usr/bin.
We have a brew package now that installs it to /usr/local/bin if you want to install mvnvm globally.

Agree. The homebrew formula I wrote uses
usr/local/bin
. Feel free to dogfood it for me! :-)
