Asset doesn't show up in table if just created (until a page refresh)

If you open the create an asset dialog box and submit to create an asset the dialog box closes but the newly created asset doesn't show up in the table. The two options to resolve this would be to repopulate the table after the asset response is successfully returned (optionally before we close the dialog box so that it's there straight away) or we refresh the page after the dialog box closes
