Alternate retention times for local and remote backups?

Hi,

I am trying to figure out if I can use your tools to setup snapshots and replication between two hosts where I keep the following on the "live" host: 23 hourly snapshots 6 days prior to the day of snapshots above 3 weekly snapshots

to yield a month of snapshots online at any given time on this node. On the alternate node I would like to keep the weekly snapshots around for 90 days. I cannot figure out how I would configure this and would appreciate a pointer.
