[ANDROID]: mdslib-1.28.1 uses deprecated RxJava version

msdlib dependens on RxJava 1.x which is discontinued from 31th of march 2018 (see https://github.com/ReactiveX/RxJava#version-1x). Additionally, the rxandroidble library is also deprecated since 30th June 2018 (see https://github.com/Polidea/RxAndroidBle).

This introduces possible security risks in my application. Are there any plans for the migration to RxJava2?

Thank you for informing us. New rxjava2 is version is going to be included in the version after 1.38. I’m leaving this bug open to track it.

RxJava2 is going to be out of support on december 31. 2020 [1]. It would probably be a good idea to skip RxJava3 and go stright for RxJava3 if the version with RxJava2 is not right around the corner.
