Unable to install integration on self hosted HipChat server.

We have a locally hosted HipChat server. When I try to add the hc-standup bot via the integration URL I get an error.

Is your server exposed to the internet?

No, it is not accessible from outside our network. It has an outgoing internet connection though.

Then you won't be able to use this integration - the standup integration needs to be able to access your server to use the API's. Alternatively, you can run this standup app in your network.

Ahh, makes sense. Thanks for the quick answer. :) Is the standup data stored on the heroku app normally?

I didn't realize that the HipChat sever needed to be externally accessible.

Yes, the standup app has a db, and all that runs in heroku.
