Consider using RethinkDB instead of MongoDB?

Pardon my ignorance but single node installations of MongoDB are not really recommended are they?

For this type of app a single node installation of RethinkDB would probably be more suitable? It shares a similar syntax as MongoDB but performs well as a single node.

Any plans in the future for this?
