Font change has strange side-effect.

Changing font to Cardo (from Canterell) makes the results panel almost unusable. Yhe lines are so low that only part of letters are visible. It is not clear how to restore or change the line height.

Yes, but how to get the proper line height for other fonts?

The line height is set to the height reported by font itself. So, for all non-broken fonts it should work correctly and it certainly does so here.

If we can prove Cardo is broken I will report a bug.

Unfortunately it looks like Cardo is no longer maintained, so there is no reason to report a bug: http://scholarsfonts.net/cardofnt.html.
