It seems that settings (both corpus and language) no longer work after upgrading Django

I would not consider this critical unless some other users start complain, I can live with it.

I have no idea why it doesn't work anymore. The browser version works and djview4poliqarp seems to imitate that.

I will try to fix it but it doesn't seem promising so far.

Fix problems with settings. Closes #283.

This needed a larger rewrite of requesrt handling. Hopefully, now it will be easier to maintain and understand.
