This pull request adds a script for automated cross-compilation of Windows binaries. By default, it creates a statically linked (thus: standalone) 64-bit binary. More details and configuration options are described in
Windows-cross-compile.md.Native compilation on Windows should be left unaffected, but I have no way to test if it still works.
