How to re-locate system

Issue #88 invalid
Former user created an issue

I worked at a school and we set up our library on this system. Was laid off and they system has not been used in 2 years. How can we reactivate this system?? The entire library had been scanned into it and would very much like to retrieve it and get it going again. It was setup by a traveling IT person with the school and it has been difficult to get help from him now.

From what I can figure out, it was a downloaded program and I am assuming (since it only worked on a few pc's) that I need to find the exact pc that was used. yes/no?? If I download it again on another pc, will all our files be locatable??

I would appreciate any help or suggestions!

So OpenBiblio is lost, but the books are still there? Usually the problem is reversed!

OpenBiblio runs on a server. If the server is available over the internet, I guess it would be easy to find. Perhaps it was a server available on an intranet. Or it could be portable web server, like XAMPP, EasyPHP, Uniform Server. Are these usable suggestions for searching the file system of the pc's you can access?

Let's hope the hints were useful. Anyway: this is not a problem in OpenBiblio's source or a task for the developers.
