Are there any plans to support ARM NEON? AVX and SSE are nice but Intel processors are really expensive If I compare Intel Atom vs Cortex A15 in x264
Cortex A15 simple wins

Not at this time. We're always open to new platforms, but x265 is compute-intensive, and we haven't seen much demand for software HEVC encoding support on low power processors.

To close this out for now... we are always open to supporting new platforms if there is a reasonable business case for doing so. However, it's not a trivial matter to support a new hardware architecture.
