Does x265 has plan to support tile encoding?

HEVC Tile coding not only be reduce encoding time but also be used for larger reselution (such as 7680x3840) panoramic videos. kvazaar has a encoder to support tile coding. I want to know does x265 group has the plan to support tile coding? Thanks.

Currently we support wpp and slice parallel, and yes we have plan to support tile encoding in future.

Hi Ashok, what's the status on implementing tiles? My goal is to create a 2x2 grid of tiles over an 8k video encode to limit the macro-blocks from crossing the horizontal and vertical midpoints.
