proshow gold 6.1 is a huge update, and i can't believe they waited a year to do this! most notable are the ability to quickly export out your premiere pro projects to proshow web and psd files which preserves the original text, layout, etc. in your project. it's quite fast and seamless. they've also made an in-house acquisition of miro video converter - allowing you to easily convert file formats from proshow web, or any other app. this version works like a real video converter, which means that you can crop, trim, and adjust the aspect ratio before converting. you can even add your own watermark and frame your video any way you'd like before saving it. and it works without plug-ins, so you can share your videos on-line from any app without any risk of the plug-ins your recipient has installed at the moment they receive your file. this beta version is the best version yet - there were many complaints about when proshow web 2.5 was released how hard it was to select photos and groups for effects without the ability to save your progress in photoshop. sadly, i can't try this new version because i don't know proshow, but i'm really excited to see the directions they took with the new psd/premiere pro integration - it seems much more intuitive and a bit easier to navigate than before. many people i've talked to are also really enjoying this new version, and i highly recommend it if you use photoshop/premiere pro. amazing new software product - far better than miro video converter and faster, easier and less error prone than flickr. im not a photoshop user so i cannot tell you how much better, easier and reliable it is than ps. the only problem is that the pro version is $95 - i can only see one more style pack coming..and i don't think there will be another one - so why is photodex charging so much more for their pro versions? 6a6f617c0c
