Support for Daikin Cloud NA/EU

Issue #22 new
Charles Crossan created an issue

I’ve put together a Python module which adds support to HomeAssistant for Daikin Cloud NA. Both of which are rough around the edges but are working.

I have an AZAI6WSPDKC WiFi controller which proxies the connection between my FDMQ24RVJU air handler and the Daikin Cloud

The WiFi module has a few open ports (SSH and a couple high-numbered ports), but I couldn’t seem to find any way to issue commands to it without the cloud interface.

To this project’s maintainers (@Fredrik Erlandsson ) : Would you think it appropriate to merge/adapt my work into this project to have an all-encompassing “Daikin control module,” or are the two control mechanisms different enough to justify keeping the modules separate?

I just realized I created this with my work Jira account instead of my personal account; would a project owner be able to change the reporter here to this account instead?

It would surely be nice to have support even for the cloud in this integration. I'm not sure how well it would be incorporated with ha.

Perhaps we should try to get pointed from ha developers first before we start the work of merging this.
