Sound freezes after receiving a notification

In myNoise 1.5, I was listening when a notification from Google Hangouts came in. Instead of temporarily pausing during the notification sound, myNoise stopped playing entirely. Pausing/unpausing did not make the sound resume. However, after forcing the app to quit and restarting, I was able to successfully listen again.
