System slows to a halt, undoes phone background in High CPU mode

In high CPU mode (the only way generators load at all on my device), the phone becomes barely responsive, taking several seconds to respond to any action, including physical phone buttons. For some reason, it also wiped my phone's lock screen and background to default.
