Generators slow to load, buttons don't work

I appreciate adding the loading screen so I know what is happening, but it's taking substantially longer to load generators now than when I first got the app. Also, even when app has loaded, buttons are nonresponsive.

Same problem here on a OnePlus 6 with Android 8.1 and OxygenOS 5.1.11. Generators are agonizingly slow to load (anywhere from 30 seconds to 4 minutes), play/pauze button doesn't work, no notification control. It's a permissions issue, at least aprtially. Once I went into Apps > MyNoise and gave it access to Storage and Phone, the button and notification started working. (storage enabled the button, phone the notification.) The problem is that we never got the permission popup in the app when first launched, so we can't allow access.
Generators are still painfully slow to load, and re-load themselves for a long time everytime you open the app (including from the notification as it is playing), but at least the button and notification are an easy fix.

@AquilaSol - The permission issue is news to me, will fix. For the painfully slow load... We had to ditch our 3rd party library for audio decoding and tried using stock android codecs. With the result that you see. I am focusing efforts on using open-source and performant codecs that will let us enjoy instantaneous generators opening times. I am really sorry.

Any reason you had to ditch them, like why fix what's not broken?
As of now, I can't get anything to work anymore. Just sits with a forever loading circle waiting for the generator to play.

@djvj Licensing issues, they changed their license and asked for more money that we will ever make from the app.

Ah thank you for letting us know. I hope you can figure out another solution. This is one of my top 5 apps on my phone and sad that it no longer works for me.

Same issue here, takes forever to load generators now on my Samsung s8+. They used to load in a second, now sometimes they never even load and I'll sit there for 30 seconds..
All I see is the giant circle spinning.
