Manually stopping and replaying generator ignores custom slider settings/presets

If you have a different Preset selected other than Default or manually adjust the sliders and then stop the generator, once you manually play the generator again it will play the Default setting but still show the slider selection or preset that it was using before.

However, I found when minimizing the app and re-opening it or locking and then unlocking my phone with the app still active, it will play the go back to the preset it is set to, but not revert any custom slider changes made before.
