Buttons not working

If I leave the app screen say phone goes to sleep or I open web browser when I go back to loaded generator it won't let me hit play or adjust timer

I also have this issue. All buttons work when I start the generator, and I can change the preset or alter the animation. But then after going away from the app for any length of time, the buttons don't work anymore.
