Switching to the app causes the generator page to stack (and crash on backing out)

When switching to the app via the notification or task switcher, if the last screen was a generator screen, it pushes that screen to the "stack" of screens - in the way that pressing "Back" pops it and you go to another copy of the generator screen.

As a side effect, making a long stack and then backing out crashes the app.
