OS thinks app is open

Shortly after I close the app, the notification pops up that the app is running, saying that it is playing the last used sound.

I have a similar issue. I can stop mynoise but the volume control is still linked to the app. Only when I force close the app (settings->apps->mynoise->force stop) I can change my ringtone volume again with my volume buttons.

Using: OnePlus One(A0001) with android 6.0.1 CyanogenMod version: 13.0-ZNH5Y-20161026-STABLE-Sultan-bacon
