MyNoise stays running in the background after closing
After I started running this app regularly, I noticed my battery was being eaten far faster than normal. I also noticed my volume side buttons would change 'media' volume rather than my ringer. I opened up SD Maid to see if MyNoise was still running in the background after I closed it, and it was. Perhaps this is a necessary evil but I think it's a bug, since I need a 3rd party tool to fully close the app.

Account Deleted Well I noticed the same thing. I am using beta 1.1.1

Same here with beta 1.1.1 Although I closed the app, it's running still in the background, draining my battery.

This will be fixed in 1.2
Out of curiosity, what does Spotify / other MP3 players report over the same period of time?
Thanks

I only use Google Music. The app doesn't keep the device awake when not in use.

Looks good! After update to 1.2b1 the app doesn't keep the device awake any more when not active. Thanks!

My Noise 1.2: I stopped/paused the app via the notification but it was still keeping my device awake. Had to force stop. (S7 with Nougat)

I'm currently running v1.2, and though the app closes, I can't close the notification for it. Running nougat on the Google Pixel. I tried reopening the app, but the notification doesn't close whether the app is open or closed.

Thanks for reporting this issue. I believe this is now fixed in beta 1.5 - feel free to give it a try by enrolling for free here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.mynoise.mynoise

Nope, MyNoise 1.5 keeps running in the background. The only way to stop it, is a force stop. Device: S7, Android 7.0
