Bluetooth Audio Issues

I've noticed that when connecting audio through bluetooth, the audio is very spotty. It seems it can't keep up with the high-quality audio. Audio from other apps works fine at same distance.

I'm hoping that Chromecast support could be added eventually, especially since these sounds are available for streaming online.

I can confirm this behaviour with my Oneplus One (cyanogenmod 13.1.2):

Audio via bluetooth works well until the screen turns off. Then the stuttering starts: the audio is chopped up ~2-3 times per second with a tiny pause inbetween. Happens both on normal and high cpu setting and with app in fore- and background. Other apps (e.g. vlc) don't display this behaviour.

For me, this is a real dealbreaker as i cut the (headphone) cord long ago.
