Can't type in "File" field

Issue #28 invalid
Former user created an issue

I was forced to update to the new browsepass because it said my KeePass file was the wrong version.

I use a subdomain such as "passwords.website.com" and my KDBX file is there (passwords.website.com/file.kdbx will force a download of the KDBX file when opened in a web browser)

In the previous browsepass, I was able to type in the file field "file.kdbx" and I was able to open the file on the server rather than locally.

Using URL won't work for me.

TL;DR allow typing in the file field instead of just "browse..." input option

    Hi,

There has never been an option to type in a file. You can only type in the URL field.

If you host BrowsePass on website.com and your KDBX resides on passwords.website.com, you will also need to set up CORS policy on passwords.website.com. This basically involves hosting an XML file on passwords.website.com. I will be glad to help if you cannot find better instructions on the web to do that.

    Cheers, Nam
