Hello
This is just what i've been searching for ! i use KeePassDroid on my Replicant phone and would like to have some simple solution for my hand made and really aschetic Linux desktop.
-- when opening index.html from local filesystem i'm unable to browse for database file ( of course i can type it as url but that's somewhat hard ) ( firefox 47.0.2 tested for now )
-- would like to get rid of all google/nsa functionality related code - what to remove ? ( newer gonna put my database anywhere but my devices )

repo owner Actually, you can open the code locally in Chrome. Just use the "Load unpacked extension" button to do that.

Hello mc!
1) It is not possible to open the file locally (i.e. file://path/to/index.html). When I'm testing the code, I've always served the code via a local server. For more information about the restriction, see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6060786/file-url-cross-domain-issue-in-chrome-unexpected.
2) You can delete
components/gdrive
to remove Google Drive function.Hope that helps! Let me know otherwise.
