Improvements on chat

Issue #58 resolved

Today, or rather, yesterday, I joined your awesome Swan Station timer site.

However, today (party Saturday probably...) I saw offensive language in the chat by the user TheBlackSmoke, I merely asked if it was truly needed to have such language in chat. (N words, F words... you name it)

I'd love to advice that there would be some sort of rules or regulations for the chat, and to avoid these words. Even IF the excuse is "that it's a party" To me, that's no excuse for me to use such racial and sexual slurs.

Sure, I know you can ignore it, but people who join in and see this kind of language in your chat, that might be such a huge turn off for them, and they eventually wont return. To explain to people that this is a thing the "veterans" do is just... not a way to handle these situations. Why? because you let that language I just got spewed at me, a more common thing in that chat, there wont be as many users. And you keep new users from coming and make this site a bad recommendation instead of a good one.

He apologized too, after I said I am messaging you a complaint about all that has happened. To me, that shows behavior as if he is a coward and thinks it's all good now, but at the next person he'll do it again. Or that the same event like this will happen. It frightens me how I had to go to his level (which I probably shouldn't have done) To get some justice done AND making him apologizing. Because trust me, seeing people tell you to jump off a bridge just because you share a different opinion on slurs, is sickening. (and to call a person you have no knowledge off, a F or other slurs)

If a ban or rules are not in order, just talk to the person we report, and ask him to behave. I try to respect them, as much as I want respect from them, but I can't do it, if they keep being offensive and telling me things I am not, while also being super immature.

Thank you for reading this. And I wish you the best of luck with this website. And hoping we as a community can make it a better place overall.
